What to Expect
In order to create a custom, natural fit, we’ll begin the process by meeting with you to determine the look you’d like to achieve, while checking the appropriateness of your teeth for this restoration and obtaining the best colour matches.
Next, we’ll lightly sand the enamel on the teeth to be fitted with veneers to maintain the same tooth thickness. Then, we take scans or impressions of your teeth to send to the lab to create a perfect fit with the correct colour and shape. While your new “teeth” are being made, we may place temporary veneers on your teeth until the permanent ones are ready.
At the next visit, we will have you approve the colour and shape prior to cementing them. If you’re not happy, we will send them back to the lab to make any needed alterations. When you’re thrilled with the results, we will bond them to your teeth with tooth-coloured bonding adhesive.
For most patients, this restoration is completed in three visits.
